1. Scope
These terms apply to anyone who requests a quote or books a cleaning with Bluetide Window Cleaning, a Nebraska-based residential and commercial window-cleaning company.
2. Quotes and booking
Submitting our online quote form creates a service request. We confirm scope, price, and a tentative date with you by phone within one business day. A booking is only confirmed once we’ve spoken and you’ve provided a card-on-file through our payment processor.
3. Pricing and payment
- Quotes are flat-rate and stand for 30 days from issue. Once you’ve confirmed, the price doesn’t change unless scope changes (additional windows, second-story access not disclosed up front, etc.).
- No charge today. Your card-on-file is charged the day your service is completed.
- Subscription plans (Monthly, Quarterly) auto-renew at the per-visit rate on each scheduled cleaning.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
- Individual cleanings: cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment with no fee. Same-day cancellations incur a $50 fee to cover our reserved crew time.
- Subscription plans: no contract. Cancel any time with 30 days’ written notice. Bundled add-on credits (e.g. free screen cleanings) are forfeited if you cancel mid-cycle.
5. Streak-Free Guarantee
If you find a streak within 7 days of your cleaning, contact us and we’ll return at no charge to clean the affected windows. The guarantee covers streaks caused by our work — it doesn’t cover new soiling from weather, sprinklers, construction next door, pets, or anything else that hits the glass after we leave.
6. Access and property
- You’re responsible for unlocked gates, restrained pets, and disclosing any windows we should not touch (stained glass, broken seals, etc.) before we start.
- We use water-fed carbon-fiber poles up to three stories. We don’t lean ladders against vinyl siding. If a window is unreachable by our standard methods, we’ll let you know on the walk-through and quote the alternative (lift, etc.) before proceeding.
7. Limitation of liability
We carry $1,000,000 general liability and workers’ compensation. We’re responsible for damage caused by our negligence. We’re not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage we identify and disclose to you before cleaning (failed seals, hairline cracks, etched hard-water damage)
- Damage caused by your property’s pre-existing conditions (rotted sills, unstable storm windows, unreinforced screens)
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our maximum liability for any single cleaning is capped at the amount you paid for that cleaning, except for damage we’re legally required to cover.
8. Photos
We may take before-and-after photos of the work we perform. We won’t share photos that show your address, license plates, or anything identifying without your written consent. If you’d rather we not take photos at all, just say so on the confirmation call.
9. Disputes
We’d rather make it right than fight about it. Email hello@dirtytide.com and we’ll respond within two business days. If we can’t resolve a dispute informally, it’s governed by Nebraska law and venue is Douglas County, Nebraska.
10. Changes to these terms
We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top if we change anything material. Continued use of our service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
