What we collect
When you request a quote or book a cleaning, we collect:
- Your name, email, and phone number
- Your service address (and any access notes you provide)
- Your selected plan, add-ons, and home-size details
- Card-on-file payment details — captured during the confirmation call by our payment processor (Stripe), not stored by Bluetide directly
When you browse the site, our hosting platform (Vercel) and any first-party analytics record standard request logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer.
How we use it
- To quote and schedule your service
- To text you appointment reminders and same-day arrival windows
- To email receipts, season-start reminders, and the occasional newsletter (you can unsubscribe any time)
- To improve the site and customer experience
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend / our email service — transactional and newsletter email
- Our CRM — to track your service history and preferences
- Vercel — site hosting
Each of these providers has their own privacy obligations and acts only on our instructions.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time. Email hello@dirtytide.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re in a jurisdiction that grants additional rights (GDPR, CCPA), we honor those too.
Retention
We keep customer records for as long as you’re an active customer plus seven years for tax and warranty purposes. After that, we delete or anonymize.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of strictly-necessary cookies (e.g. for the quote funnel’s draft-saving). We don’t use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we’ll update this notice and offer an opt-out.
Children
Bluetide’s services are for adult homeowners and property managers. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, when reasonable, email active customers.
