Our story.
Bluetide Window Cleaning started in 2022 with Nick Fosheim, an Omaha native, and one squeegee. He noticed something that didn’t sit right: the home services industry was full of experienced pros, but almost no young people were stepping into that space — and nobody was making it interesting or something worth being proud of. So he did, and Bluetide was built on the idea that window cleaning can be done with care, creativity, and a little humor too.
We've been cleaning Omaha homes since 2022 and we're still intentionally small — Nick is on every first cleaning personally. Anyone on the crew is W-2 (never sub-contracted), insured under our policy, and trained on our purified-water + microfiber + streak-free process before they ever touch your glass. We don't use franchise call centers, and we don't price differently on the porch than we did on the website.

Insurance + safety
Documentation, not hand-waves.
We carry $1,000,000 general liability and workers compensation through a Nebraska-licensed commercial carrier. Certificates of Insurance available for HOAs, property managers, builders, and commercial accounts on request — usually emailed within an hour.
Crew is OSHA-trained on ladder safety and fall protection. We use water-fed carbon-fiber poles for second- and third-story work to avoid leaning ladders against siding wherever possible.
Eco-friendly
Pet-safe, kid-safe, plant-safe.
Interior solutions are ammonia-free and biodegradable. Exterior is purified water — deionized and filtered, no detergent runoff into your landscaping. We don't use hydrofluoric acid, bleach, or industrial solvents on residential glass. For hard-water removal we use professional restoration products formulated for residential use and rinse thoroughly with purified water.
